I use Microsoft 365 Business to access the application that is part of the suite, such as Outlook.
Senior Software Engineer at Xylem
User friendly interface, easy to use, and reliable
Pros and Cons
- "The most valuable features are the user-friendly interface and ease of use. There is a benefit to not needing to install the application on your computer. For example, if you want to use Outlook or another application you can easily navigate to the website through your phone and quickly check your email. This is a very useful feature."
- "I would prefer to use Microsoft Outlook rather than Office 365 because of the way features are available in Outlook. There are times it becomes difficult to get to certain features through Office 365. For example, if you want to recall an email that you have accidentally send across to someone this is not very easily available through Office 365. The shortcuts available through Outlook are not there in Office 365 Business."

Good ability to handle large files, a lot of online information, and useful Teams application for conferencing and messaging
Pros and Cons
- "The most important feature of Microsoft 360 Business is Teams. We use it for our conference calls and messaging. Microsoft Teams reduces the number of emails that I have to send or receive. Microsoft 365 Business has been incredibly useful during this period because of the integration of Teams with Outlook and the ability to store and handle files of large dimensions."
- "There are some security issues with the platform, and its security should be improved. We have to re-enter the username and password sometimes, which is quite boring for us. The usability of Outlook can be improved. Currently, it is a little bit limited and old-fashioned. They should think about the concept of dealing with emails in Teams. Teams and Outlook together will make it a complete platform. The Teams application is not user-friendly on mobile phones and should be improved."

Real-time edit and update features are useful
Pros and Cons
- "The feature I find most valuable is Business 365's real-time edit and updates. You can share files, and it will automatically create the link for you."
- "However, people might think it's unstable if it hasn't been set up correctly. If the IT team hasn't configured it right, then you'll have a hard time using the product itself."
What is most valuable?
The feature I find most valuable is Business 365's real-time edit and updates. You can share files, and it will automatically create the link for you.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Business 365 for about two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
So far, Business 365 has been stable. Microsoft has been around for quite some time already. However, people might think it's unstable if it hasn't been set up correctly. If the IT team hasn't configured it right, then you'll have a hard time using the product itself. That is what I felt prior to joining this company. I thought Business 365 wasn't good, but I realized that the IT team had set it up incorrectly.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I think Business 365 is scalable because everything is in the cloud right now.
How are customer service and support?
I haven't contacted Microsoft support. Typically, I do my own research about fixes online, so I don't need to contact Microsoft.
How was the initial setup?
I'm unsure about the setup because my company laptop had the solution already installed when I got it.
What other advice do I have?
I rate Business 365 eight out of 10. It's a good product, but I can't really say whether it's the best, to be honest. But I'll rate it eight. Rating a product 10 means they don't need to improve anything. I rate it eight because Windows is constantly changing and improving it.

I've been using the solution for a few years now. It's been a while. It's not a new solution for me.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
While you can scale the product to a certain extent, we would like to see more scalability potential.
We have 350 people using the solution currently.
How are customer service and technical support?
I've contacted technical support in the past. They're good. I found them to be helpful and responsive. I'm satisfied with the level of support I can get when I need to.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We previously used an earlier version of Microsoft. We always use Microsoft. We did not use another kind of product before this.
How was the initial setup?
The installation process is very straightforward. It's not difficult or complex.
The deployment happens quickly. We had it up and running in maybe ten to 15 minutes.
What about the implementation team?
I've handled the installation on my own laptop in the past. I know how to install it. I don't need the assistance of a consultant or an integration. That said, for my company, for those types of business installations, I did not handle the setup directly.
What other advice do I have?
As a cloud-based solution, we are always on the latest version. It's updated automatically. We do not need to update it manually.
I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten. If it offered more integration with other applications, I'd rate it higher.
I would recommend the solution to other users and organizations.
