Has simplified remote software delivery and script management but needs improved reporting flexibility and better Mac support
NinjaOne's best features include ease of use regarding enablement and deployment, a broad selection and ability of software enablement, and API deliveries. Using CrowdStrike, we are able to tie in NinjaOne's API to have these automatically deliver to endpoints upon addition of those devices to a group with that policy deployed to it. NinjaOne has positively impacted our organization by making delivery easier for our end users and improving the ability to create scripts, manage scripts, and check status of devices and their compliance. This easier delivery with NinjaOne gives us oversight on devices without having to be on the call or remoted in directly to a device.

Can automate updates and manage software licenses more effectively
Our team uses the SanerNow CyberHygiene Platform for threat detection, focusing on features like vulnerabilities and asset exposure. The asset exposure feature is packaged with software licenses and machines. We get the latest updates and patches for Windows workstations and applications for remediation. We can automate these updates, which greatly improves our previous manual and scripting-based tools. Before, we struggled with setting policies and making changes to workstations. Now, we can automate updates and manage software licenses more effectively. We monitor who's using various licenses like Office, CAD, Visio, and Lumion.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We can use it for remote monitoring, and it also works great as a troubleshooting tool. We are able to open up a command line or a PowerShell session remotely without having to disrupt the user. They have a limited network device monitoring capability, but for workstation servers, we have the event logs. We can do performance monitoring, system changes, software deployment, and patch management. We can also push scripts. It has a very simple web interface. There are no additional things to do there. Security is also pretty good. It does the same things that the other competitor's tools do. One of the advantages of Ninja is that they have a more capable mobile app, which allows you to see the alerts immediately. I get alerted to major critical issues."
"The installation is easy, it only took two minutes."
"NinjaOne is a great product. It is working and it is always developing."
"A significant feature of NinjaOne is its remote access capability, which is essential for my clients’ home office usage."
"The tool's most valuable feature is third-party application updates."
"NinjaOne helped us address our user complaints regarding the system as well as providing us the ability to push software updates directly from NinjaOne to the user's device."
"It helps us to be able to have visibility into the overall performance of the servers, laptops, and desktops that we are managing currently."
"The most valuable features of NinjaOne include remote desktop management, support and assistive tools, and screen sharing."
"Our team uses the SanerNow CyberHygiene Platform for threat detection, focusing on features like vulnerabilities and asset exposure. The asset exposure feature is packaged with software licenses and machines. We get the latest updates and patches for Windows workstations and applications for remediation. We can automate these updates, which greatly improves our previous manual and scripting-based tools."
"Although it is, in fact, a complete vulnerability management solution, the most valuable feature is the patch management functionality. Most of our customers give preference to this tool over other tools when it comes to patch management."

Cons

"Maximizing the screen during an SSH connection is not possible, which hampers usability on Linux servers."
"Customer support is active and proactive, but not reachable 24/7, which is an issue."
"NinjaOne's dashboard could be easier to use."
"The graphical user interface could be improved."
"The remote connectivity could be better. It works most of the time, but sometimes, there are issues."
"The inclusion of XENServer and Proxmox as virtual platforms in NinjaOne is currently missing."
"NinjaOne's pricing and user interface needs improvement."
"The graphical user interface could be improved."
"SanerNow has good integration with the more well known ITSM tools, but at the same time there are many other ITSM (IT Service Management) tools available in the market, including local tools here in India, and I'm not sure how SanerNow plans to integrate with them all out of the box."
"SanerNow CyberHygiene Platform needs to incorporate more documentation."
