I primarily use the product for image deployment to a few devices and some application deployment.

The product valuable for deployment recovery and it has done much more than that.

We utilize it for tasks such as ongoing OS patching, application deployment, configuring services, making adjustments to conferencing settings, comparing configurations across different systems, and implementing security measures, among other things.

Certainly, MECM, being MECM, is undeniably one of the best tools I've come across, having a plenty of features that have been steadily improving over time. In our role, it serves as an outstanding solution, particularly as a configuration manager. Nothing quite compares to MECM in this regard. The interface and its capabilities have been immensely helpful. While I've explored other tools on the market, including premium options, MECM stands out as superior to all of them. Moreover, it aligns seamlessly with Microsoft platforms and their various intricacies. It's a significant advantage.

We primarily use it for deploying software and software updates, such as monthly Microsoft updates. We also deploy images and collect our computers' inventory (in regards to what software is being installed) along with their configuration. 

I have been using the product for approximately 22 years, when it was still called SMS. My first product version was SMS 1.1.

We have two different categories of software:

1. The software for everybody.
2. The limited license software upon request.

This product provides us with time savings during installation. Because of SCCM, the limited license software can be installed within four hours of request.

We use this solution for software updates, patching, and application installs. We're using the current version.

This solution is deployed on-premises, but we also deploy it on the cloud.

About four or five people use this solution in my organization. We have plans to increase usage.

It helps us with deploying security updates to our servers monthly.

We use it to manage our enterprise desktops and laptops. Most of our enterprise computers are managed using this platform, but we also include some mobile devices. It allows us to manage our desktops effectively with policies in place. I estimate that over 50% of our laptops are managed using this platform.

Endpoint Manager is valuable to our organization because it allows us to connect to our enterprise from remote locations securely. The most useful feature is its robustness and scalability. It is highly scalable and flexible, allowing us to use it in various environments. Additionally, we can specialize the policies related to each device group. This ensures that each group has access to the applications they need for their work and non-work hours.

The on-premises useability is very good.

The solution is stable. 

For the most part, for our needs, the scaling is fine.

Microsoft is already pushing users towards Intune, as opposed to SCCM. It's on the roadmap for them. It's inevitable. SCCM will be on Endpoint Manager in the future. I would say nothing needs to be changed.

The solution is on-premises. The cloud version of the product, if a person needs to be on the cloud, would be InTune, which already exists as an option. SCCM doesn't need to offer cloud features for this reason.

We primarily utilize SCCM for deploying and updating applications across our network. This includes managing crucial Windows updates to ensure our systems are up-to-date and secure.

One of the standout features of SCCM is its application management capabilities. It allows us to create packages efficiently and deploy them to specific groups within our network. This streamlined process has significantly improved our software distribution workflows. Regarding remote control capabilities, SCCM does offer these features. But I haven't extensively utilized them in my role. I'm aware that SCCM allows for remote querying and control, which can be beneficial for IT support and maintenance tasks.

It is used for software deployments, PC operating system deployments, and security patch deployments.

Currently, we are using it on-premises, but we are slowly moving to the cloud solution that is called Intune or Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM).

We have high availability for all of our deployments. We can trust this platform for all our deployments. We are quite happy with the fact that we can do what we want to do. It fulfills our goals for all deployments.
