We use the solution for digital marketing, especially for email marketing. We have B2B as well as B2C customers.

The solution is good for B2B email marketing. Eloqua is bringing in a lot of new features like SMS. It is a well-known and flexible solution. The product is easy to use. It is the market leader in digital marketing.

We generally use it for B2B (business-to-business) marketing automation. We can build customer journeys and generate emails.

And we can do email marketing. It also has the ability to create Lead campaigns and drip campaigns and then send those leads out to a CRM or another tool like Salesforce.

Eloqua's reporting is very strong. Oracle, by default, provides many out-of-the-box reports – probably more than 150 – that cover the most common use cases. 

Additionally, there's a feature called Insight, where you can build customized reports without any coding. These reports can be scheduled for delivery to your inbox at regular intervals – monthly, weekly, etc.

We use the solution for the marketing process. We get feeds from multiple sources, generate email campaigns, and lead management. We perform the lead scoring.

The scoring module is the best, along with the campaigns feature that we trigger from the tool.

I use Eloqua to push emails to targeted audiences. Basically, creating emails, planning, and campaigns and sending them to targeted contacts.

My team primarily handles reporting. I've recently started using Insight, the built-in analytics tool, to customize reports on my own. So far, it seems to be working well.

The main value of this solution is its support of really large databases. If you have five million customers, you're not going to be able to use HubSpot or Pardot, it'll be Eloqua which has always been known for really huge databases. Nobody buying Eloqua is going to be running on SAP or some minor database, they'll be running on an Eloqua database. 

This product hasn't kept up to date on features; they haven't adapted to or adopted newer ways of doing business. In addition, it's a very expensive solution. As a result, they're losing market share. 

The solution's engine framework is quite simple, giving you the agility you need in the business. When it comes to the business context, it's all about the customer journey.

The solution should consider adding functionality related to event listening, such as webhooks. The solution should provide an omnichannel approach rather than just email and a message, neither of which is very attractive.

The releases or updates of Oracle Eloqua are mostly more focused on bug fixes than new features.

We use the solution for marketing through email.

The solution is deployed on the Oracle cloud.

The ease of maintenance is the most valuable feature.

The solution is easy to integrate.

The most valuable feature for us is that it integrates with our CRM content management system. We use Multipub and Salesforce, and Marketing Cloud pulls in the information of all our customers from those systems. When we create our segments, we don't have to manually pull in lists. So when we create a segment, we can just use the information that's already integrated within our system.

We don't use it to its fullest capacity, but when we purchased it, we wanted to use it for its marketing capabilities. It's got a lot of step capabilities, and there's a lot of if/then functions. When you send an email and if a customer opens that email and makes a purchase, we know it. And if they then do nothing else, we can send a follow-up email.

It has a lot other marketing capabilities. We try and incorporate a lot of those features, but I have to say that we're not always the best at it.
