Though it is good for the analytics part, it needs to be made less complex for users
It was one of the complex products used in our company earlier. My company has stopped using Adobe Campaign, and moved to another marketing software for distribution. I will not be able to comment on the product's email marketing strategy since there might have been upgrades in the tool. My…

It integrates well with our existing solutions, so we can analyze the data for analytics, forecasting and modeling
Setting up SAP CRM is straightforward. I rate it eight out of 10 for ease of setup. SAP provides all the tools and techniques were available from the vendor. However, the integration portion is a lot of work and requires some functional consultants. It takes some effort to customize the program and rewrite it to align with our business standards, but the initial implementation is straightforward. We didn't face any challenges here. Total deployment for this project took around eight or nine months, including development, testing, and validation. After deployment, the administration is fairly simple. We have to take care of the licensing part and forecast data growth for the next three or four months. We have the tools and people available for operations as well as vendor support. If we have complex issues, we can raise a ticket to the vendor and get it sorted.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Analytics was a good part of Adobe Campaign."
"It is a stable solution."
"The tool helps store and manage our data. I don't need to be a pro in SQL, but I can still run queries and get the exact data I want. Some workflows help me get data from any table and send it to any platform without expert SQL knowledge. I can still export complicated data anywhere."
"The solution is stable."
"What I found most valuable in SAP CRM is its multitenancy, and you can use it from your website, SMS, and even social media, and it's all integrated, so my company is trying to leverage on all of those."
"The product integrates with third-party tools easily."
"The solution is highly scalable."
"When we are using SAP CRM we receive more accurate results than using any other CRM system."
"It provides innovative ideas for implementation."
"The initial setup of SAP CRM was simple."
"Compared to other systems, SAP CRM has been reliable, stable, and cost-effective for us."

Cons

"The dashboard is perfect. The UI could be more user-friendly because the buttons are pretty small. Only someone who knows where to find them will easily locate them. New users might have difficulty finding options. Since I've been working with it for a while, I don't have that problem."
"Adobe Campaign needs to improve the UI because it is a bit old. Sometimes, the platform is a bit slow."
"The problems we faced with Adobe Campaigns in my company stemmed from the fact that it was very complex software."
"In terms of stability, there are some latency issues."
"The tool's installation on the cloud takes time, but it should be easier. One transaction takes around one to one and a half hours."
"In the future, machine learning and artificial intelligence functionality need to be included."
"The product is very expensive."
"I think what needs to be improved is the solution for Brazil's organization."
"The navigation must be improved."
"We would like the coding system within this solution to be more straightforward when carrying out general entry tasks."
"Previously, the SAP CRM used to use simple servers, but now SAP uses HANA. The problem with the HANA databases is their interoperability with other solutions. SAP CRM could improve by working better with other solutions."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution is cheaper than Salesforce. It is useful for small banks that want to trigger emails."
"It will be a bit expensive because it is an Adobe product."
"There is a license required to use SAP CRM."
"The pricing from SAP is good but it takes time to realize the investment."
"SAP CRM is an expensive product."
"There is a license required for the solution and most of my clients purchase an annual license."
"Its price is reasonable. As compared to other CRMs, this CRM is competitively priced. They have multiple flavors with different sets of functionality. Pricing is based on the flavor that suits your requirement. If you have more users, the cost will come down."
"The product is expensive."
"Every user needs to have a license."
"We pay for the license yearly."
