The best feature is that it's a Microsoft product, so if anything goes wrong, we get quick support for anything required. Remote system functionality allows us to sit anywhere and take control of any device via remote management. We can enhance security for clients' laptops with built-in Microsoft Defender, which is available with the Microsoft Intune license. We use it for reporting purposes through endpoint analytics. When pushing scripting, there are two types available: remediation script and reservation script. Through endpoint analytics, you can push defender policies to clients. It helps with reporting, inventory updates, and monitoring tenant status health.

Review about BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite
For the purpose of better performance is we have some applications, internal applications, that work on document but when we did integration with BlackBerry Edit from BlackBerry Enterprise, yeah. I think that we failed. We failed on that integration. We cannot integrate that BlackBerry Edit. BlackBerry Edit has issues for editing any document. We have other internal applications that can bring or field documents but cannot edit into BlackBerry Edit. There's room for improvement with editing documents. When I was the [inaudible 00:09:48] for BlackBerry Enterprise, maybe they need to create... I'm so sorry. Because for month or once on a month, I need to delete database or some database logs from BlackBerry that use much [crosstalk 00:10:09]- I think the database slow because the BlackBerry Enterprise, it have database that put inside SQL Server, so every month I need to check the hard disk if it is sufficient to handle the database files or not. Every month, I need to check hard disk, so if it's not sufficient or it's already full, I need to delete some logs. I think on the UEM server, they can keep the database or hard disk performance, like approval. So from the UEM server, we can delete any file that is not used anymore. Yeah, something like that, I think.

Seamless provisioning and application deployment enhance workflow, yet enhancements in asset and software spend management roles are acknowledged
The zero-touch capability where you can install all the business applications and deliver the laptop to the user, who just needs to log on to complete everything without any human intervention, are the best features in Ivanti Neurons for MDM. We have security features, patch management, compliance reports, and dashboards integrated within Ivanti.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"Cloud-based device management is the best feature for me as it impacts my company the most; it is much easier than the previous Configuration Manager or SCCM."
"Autopilot is a great feature. Most users are looking for a zero-touch deployment."
"Using Azure and Intune has helped us resolve most of these issues, as we no longer need a physical infrastructure to manage systems and can push policies remotely while maintaining control over the devices."
"Microsoft Intune saves eight hours per day, and during my work hours, I use my time to study and run tests on configurations I'm curious about and try them out in my environment."
"The best features in Microsoft Intune that I appreciate most are its centralized features."
"We already use a lot of Microsoft products in our company, and therefore, it made sense to also use this product."
"The solution’s most valuable feature is its ease of use."
"There are so many features, but Windows Autopilot is one of the features that are very valuable for most customers."
"Whenever we have issues, people rely on the ability to check messages promptly."
"It keeps things secure, it can remotely wipe the container and it's fairly easy to use."
"It has allowed us to manage many different mobile device platforms, like Windows 10, Android, Apple, and BlackBerry 10, all through a single pane of glass."
"If a device is stolen, you have the power to remove all of the contents remotely. You can do this very quickly."
"The containerization of the workspace is what we have found to be the most valuable."
"Security is the most valuable feature, because we are a financial institution. We have a large number of clients and we have to make sure all communications are secure and PCI compliant."
"The technical support for the solution is excellent."
"We are able to separate personal information and in the event of e breach, we are able to turn off access and/or delete this information."
"The user interface is user-friendly."
"The most valuable feature is that everything is in one place, which makes it easy to manage."
"It's effective in what it is able to achieve and it's easy to use."

"The products are quite good when they are operational."
"The company provides great customer service."

Cons

"Microsoft support was not very responsive, and it took approximately one and a half months to get on a call to clear what the problem was."
"If we could remote into a device, it would be great. Currently, we cannot directly connect to the user device. We have to use other tools such as VMware for connecting to devices."
"Lacks the ability to deploy more ways of management, managing devices and processing the policies."
"Sometimes the syncing is inconsistent. I'm confident that the devices are checking in every eight hours, but sometimes the devices aren't picking up the settings as quickly as I would expect. Some features haven't been updated in a while, and Microsoft doesn't seem interested in developing them. Unless you talk to an engineer, you don't know whether there will be an update."
"Microsoft Intune's support for Mac devices is lacking and could be improved."
"Intune should be much more granular in terms of supporting more Android cellular devices."
"Some customers have reported experiencing slowness when using lower versions of the Android system."
"Intune should support platforms other than Windows. We have encountered several limitations, especially when handling iOS devices."
"From the past to the present, before mobility location, we frequently required a restart."
"The initial installation could be simplified."
"More devices supported like iOS, Android, and API so it can support various platforms to enhance the experience."
"The newest features sometimes pop in very slowly."
"The installations on the device could be simpler. It is a good solution, and all the features are there. So, there isn't a lot to improve. I'm sure they already have their thought process on how to improve it."
"Second level support needs to have strong knowledge of the product."
"I know for the BlackBerry Connect, our users want to see more features, such as audio and video. I know the current version doesn't have that."
"Some users have complained that some features cannot be done through the BlackBerry Access Hub."
"MobileIron UEM could improve the monitoring of devices."
"We would like the initial setup to be simpler."
"The disadvantage in connection with Windows devices is that the pushing of policies takes some time."
"The release of new versions often goes in the wrong direction with Ivanti. The test team or the testing procedures are flawed because they release new versions with numerous basic issues."
"The MDM, asset management, and software spend management are areas that could have more improvement in Ivanti Neurons for MDM."
"The interface is complicated and not very easy to use."
"The release of new versions often goes in the wrong direction with Ivanti."
"UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Its price is quite okay. I wish they provide certain additional features with the same license."
"It comes with the E5 plan. We bought the E5 plan from Microsoft."
"The pricing needs improvement."
"It is reasonable. When you have Microsoft 365 E3 or E5 license, it is already licensed in that license. So, you could say it is free."
"The pricing is inherently reasonable, as Microsoft leverages market insights to maintain the total cost of ownership at around ninety to ninety-five percent of what would be incurred in an on-premise scenario."
"Consider the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite rather than choosing specific sub-components, e.g. only Microsoft Intune."
"Microsoft Intune costs about $7 per user per month, which is somewhat on the pricier end. That said, it's a reliable product, so it's fair."
"The product is offered as part of a Microsoft standard bundle. The pricing can be competitive to Airwatch, and Maas360."
"Sometimes, it is very hard to get an overview because there are so many different suites to find out what is the right thing for new customers."
"We pay about $6 a year for the solution. There are no extra costs on top of that. You save a lot of money when you use this product."
"It was on a yearly support contract, and the licenses were perpetual. There was also the implementation cost and the support cost for the integrator."
"We currently pay by the year, but the licenses are calculated on a monthly basis."
"In my opinion, we're paying an awful lot for what we get, compared to other vendors. I don't deal with the pricing, but it does seem to be a bit pricey for the things that we get, especially, when you compare them to other vendors, such as VMware, Citrix, who have all bought up other players in this space. VMware offers AirWatch free as part of their packages."
"We are paying $200 annually. You also need to have a hardware server or a license for the server so there could be some additional fees added on to that."
"The licensing costs are paid on a yearly basis because we just renewed the license. If you have some big issue, they will also charge you."
"For the number of licenses, I believe it was approximately $500,000 per year, or for three years."
"The price of MobileIron UEM is very good."
"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
