I am in this case studying and taking courses, lessons, and laboratories with ArcSoft since I am on a learning path to be able to handle pre-sales with ArcSoft.
ArcSoft can be used in different scenarios. For example, there exists a specific certification for financial companies. It's possible to apply two ArcSoft solutions with replication with different sites and of course to configure it for disaster recovery, too.
Overall, it's a good product.
The licensing is very good. We're happy it has cloud capabilities.
It offers a different use method. You can use it on the cloud or buy an ArcSoft appliance.
The duplication is useful. ArcSoft achieves better duplication levels than Veeam, for example. The performance is much better.
The management is very easy as it has a very good interface. It's simple to configure.
The pricing is fair and reasonable.
It's simple to set up.
It is complicated for me to discuss features to improve since I don't use it regularly or don't check all products within the ArcSoft portfolio. They could work on their marketing approach. I don't see many people leveraging it. Veeam seems to have better marketing distribution and communication across different types of social media and you just don't see this solution anywhere.
I've used this solution for one to two years.
The solution is stable and reliable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze.
Support is good. Their people are knowledgeable about the product. I've been able to get resolutions when needed.
In the past, I have used Veeam. I find this solution to be better.
The initial setup is very easy. I'd rate the ease of implementation nine out of ten. You only need one person to deploy the solution. If you need to work on allocating data center appliances, two or three people might be needed. Technical knowledge of the solution and some knowledge of the data center equipment is necessary.
The pricing is competitive. I'd rate the affordability of the product nine out of ten.
We are partners.
Currently, I am in training mode in relation to this product.
So far, I like the solution. It's very good and has string capacity for data and information.
I'd rate it eight out of ten.
