SAP S/4HANA Reviews

I manage an SAP Central competence, and we are working on multiple S/4HANA implementations. Our Webex begins with leading teams. We've done major and complex implementations in the network.

SAP InGen is not just for HANA. The most likely features are that it is scalable. You don't have to worry too much about volumes of data, even if your transaction volumes go up. 

It is easier to accommodate due to standardized features. It is easier to maintain and even find the workforce to maintain it because an SAP standard feature is globally the same. So it's not dependent on individual people having expertise, unlike custom apps where you'll have that dependency on particular developers or a consultant. 

Additionally, there is a rich, diverse workforce available. Many innovations are coming up individually from the ecosystem as well. These are prime features. If you go module by module in MM, SD, and other individual modules, there are many features not offered by any other ERPs. 

You can build S/4HANA in S/4HANA, and you can build SAP as your end-to-end SAP, which covers everything you need. SAP Analytics, when coupled with an active SAP SSP system, allows you to see material movement or your sales order history end-to-end. 

You can view your inventory and supplier ecosystem, enabling you to see multiple factors with all the data in a single data model. If you have multiple different systems, matching different patterns can be confusing, however, it is easier to draw connections and identify patterns in this setup. This is the biggest advantage.

SAP S/4HANA provides a standard setup process. Several third-party tools are available to integrate with the SAP ecosystem. Some customers of our organization find SAP S/4HANA very easy to use, and some are adopting the solution due to prior familiarity with the SAP ecosystem. The licensing changes implemented in Oracle JD Edwards have also made a few customers of our organization adopt SAP S/4HANA. 

The Order-to-Cash feature is indispensable and irreplaceable in SAP S/4HANA. Almost every customer I have worked with in my organization finds the Order-to-Cash feature extremely valuable. 

For Order-to-Cash using SAP S/4HANA, a company needs to consider the local regulations at one point. SAP can help with all such local regulations. I wouldn't recommend SAP S/4HANA for a small or medium-sized company.

The integration capabilities of SAP S/4HANA are as good as those of its competitor products. A reliable middleware product will be needed in SAP S/4HANA especially if discrete ERP, MES and CRM are present in the project. The integration of SAP S/4HANA will also be dependent on the strategies and vision laid out by the enterprise architect. Integrations for the solution can be done in both ELT and ETL, and both has its pros and cons.

The analytics part of SAP S/4HANA needs to be improved. The analytics feature provides decent warehousing and reporting capability, but the AI/ML components of analytics need improvement. Almost all current versions of different SAP family products either lack AI capabilities or are rudimentary. A plethora of third-party tools exist that can bring AI/ML capabilities to SAP S/4HANA, but such capabilities should be natively provided in the product. 

I am working with this system for Aalam, CAEPO, and QD. I have some experience regarding these companies. We are currently using S/4HANA for financial management, human resources, and integration with third parties. It's not just about protection, as we manage many online services like Tasee and others.

I am really happy to use HANA since it is highly syndicated with public office systems. They have integrated cloud systems and GP, sorted with security and other features connected with S/4HANA. Analytics are also integrated for reports and designations. The client is very happy to use S/4HANA.

There are a lot of options for deploying S/4HANA. It depends on the industry and the customer's budget. It is usually deployed on-premise in the public sector, but tech companies mostly choose the cloud option.

SAP provides you with single-tenant and multi-tenant options when you opt for the public cloud. When it is a single tenant, it's typically a private cloud managed by SAP, but the customer's budget also factors in. If they're working with a large budget, a customer might opt for a public cloud, but government clients might opt for a completely on-premise solution because of data security regulations. 

Most of our customers plan to move to S/4HANA. We usually start with central finance and later prepare a migration plan. By the time we're ready to deploy, SAP may have released a new version, so the customer might choose the latest edition depending on their budget go for the latest version, or they may only be interested in whatever version was on the market when we were in the planning stage.

S/4HANA is so much faster today than it was before. High performance is one of the best features, but the backbone of S/4HANA is its integration capabilities. They've also shifted to a focus on user experience. 

The UIs used to be slightly boring, but the user experience has dramatically improved since the acquisition of Sybase, Callidus, and several other companies. SAP stays ahead of the curve and is constantly improving. If you want a feature, they're already working on it. It's one of the best ERP solutions on the market.

At our company, we use SAP S/4HANA to support our two main lines of business, which are crop protection and seed development. The product is used in the central finance of our organization. 

In our organization, we are currently working on a project with a product where traditional ECC systems will be converted to SAP S/4HANA systems. 

SAP S/4HANA showcases great performance as part of the HANA database. The solution provides multiple tools for easy integrations. For instance, if I have to work with a GUI and Fiori, it can be easily carried out with the resources available in SAP S/4HANA as compared to traditional SAP systems. 

I am a lead in a consulting company, and we are working with Integration Suite for a couple of customers.

Many prebuilt scenarios are included. This provides the most value for our customers. When discussing SAP, if any customer decides to implement S/4HANA in our environment, some key advantages include the standardization of their processes, which is language-independent. There is a very wide range to bring processes forward with experienced consultants, and this aids in the return on investment.

We have several different application scenarios that we are implementing, including procurement, sales, and finance.

SAP S/4HANA is an integrated application, which is its greatest strength. It enables the posting of transactions and allows us to see the impact across various application scenarios, providing significant benefits for business. It's a comprehensive solution that excels in everything it does.

We work in a very niche area within the livestock industry. We have a SAP-certified solution for the poultry industry, and as part of our livestock solution, we cover poultry, dairy, and fishery. We more or less exclusively work in these industries.

Costing and inventory control are what we actively use as part of our tightly coupled solution. It is definitely a plus over the previous user interface. We have been working with ECC, then HANA, and now Peoria. 

It provides a cohesive user interface, even when building applications outside SAP with the OpenUI framework, offering a seamless customer experience. The way SAP has helped our customers is by establishing a discipline where industry-specific operations and SAP's standard processes work hand in hand, improving resource utilization, material movement control, and cost control. This ultimately helps achieve better yield, which is the final goal in the livestock industry. 

We adopted it recently; earlier, we used our BI for analytics and dashboards. Now, a couple of recipe tools we utilize help predominantly in forecasting, where predictive analytics is applied to yield and various dependent conditions. This offers flexibility and better decision-making regarding production increases, particularly in poultry, where a one-year lead time is needed for planning. This analytical aspect has really helped us.
