Custom reporting tool with field grabber, easy modules for recruitment and provides numerous options for integration
The complexity is the key challenge with a tool like ADP because it has all the bells and whistles and all the key features you can possibly think of. If it isn't there, there's always a third-party vendor you can integrate that way. But the only issue is that because it's complex, there needs to be some sort of system, at least on the back end, for the admins to understand what leads to what. We expect AI to improve multiple things with HR processes. The most obvious and common one would be the self-service function for employees, like a chatbot to help with FAQs. We are also building an AI tool that can possibly help managers make better talent management decisions. This tool will pull from the performance management tool, the talent profile, and the reports that we generally have to score employees across all different dimensions.

I am generally satisfied with the talent management capabilities in Oracle HCM Cloud, but as I mentioned, there are certain pages that really lag sometimes and there are a lot of bugs in talent management. Before, when it had a responsive UI, it was fine, but after it switched to Redwood, I feel there are bugs, and the functionality stated in the documents is not accurate. It takes some time to get that feature, and we need to raise product SR or ask in the community how it works. It's not easily understandable, especially in the talent management area. One potential area of improvement for Oracle HCM Cloud is that it lags. It takes time to reflect the pages, and the loading time now requires us to wait for the page to load. Earlier, we used to click and see the page immediately. However, now we need to wait for it to get loaded, which can be frustrating when working in a fast mode.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The way that ADP helped us improve our organization is by making the payroll process clean and efficient because if you make a mistake there, you're in big trouble."
"It is a scalable solution."
"The platform is on a private cloud that is fully secure with no way for hacker penetration."
"It is hard to go wrong with choosing ADP as a solution for nearly any company."
"Payroll: It is very easy and user-friendly."
"I love the integration of HR, payroll, tax filing, benefits, time and attendance, GL, ACA, employee/manager self-service, reporting and analytics."
"In my day-to-day work, attendance tracking would be most important. That's because I have a really diverse group of employees, and I have a subset of younger folks who are struggling with their attendance. So, that's the thing that I'm most involved with currently."
"For small to mid-sized companies, Workforce Now is one of the better products on the market, clean with an easy interface that is simple to maneuver around, stable, and will continue to improve into the future."
"It's highly stable because the system is totally managed by Oracle, Oracle provides 99.9% availability for the system uptime."
"Oracle HCM Cloud adds the latest features on a quarterly basis to the cloud, which makes it very easy for customers to adapt to the new features."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it is a cloud-based tool."
"Oracle is a strong option for purchasing or procurement."
"Oracle HCM has a great reporting platform, OTPI, with drag-and-drop functionality. I can design my own reports without relying on the technical team. This empowers HR users to create reports based on their needs, which is a huge advantage."
"The ability to update your information online from any device is invaluable Performing performance reviews online Removing the need to use paper Giving the data to produce the analytics These weren't possible before we had this system."
"Our overall evaluation of Oracle HCM Cloud as a general ledger tool is mixed. It is a comprehensive and versatile piece of software."
"The technical support is very good."

Cons

"I would like to see the payroll side improved and there are a few kinks that need to be worked out."
"Support leaves a lot to be desired."
"Their “new and improved” message center (where you get notifications and go to approve things like time off) is actually not as easy as it used to be."
"The ease of developing and creating reports could definitely use some improvement."
"The workflow is a bit weak."
"ADP provides a quarterly Error Notification Report that allows you to check for compliance errors based on payments made to employees that quarter. The report only shows employees by their file #; however, the recent ADP upgrade has an "Archive" feature that makes it impossible to search for employees by file number so currently, there is no way to identify the employees listed on the report without calling ADP."
"The report functionality is not as good as competitive products."
"The complexity is the key challenge with a tool like ADP ."
"I would like to see improvements in the user experience, specifically reducing the number of clicks required to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, enhancing the look and feel of the front end and allowing for a greater level of configuration would be beneficial. Its pricing should be less."
"The initial setup is straightforward. However, it is more complex than Oracle Taleo because it has a lot more features have complexity."
"The tool's configurable side allows you to have more flexibility, but at the same time, it creates a lot of confusion that still has to do over so much of the configuration, which are areas that are conflicting in nature."
"As the product is cloud based, it is a heavily standardized system. There is little or no option to customize business processes, features, or integrate the few exceptional business processes to work with the existing product."
"The interfaces could be improved because when you're going into the landing page, the interfaces look a bit blunt when they could be more user-friendly."
"What's not working that well at the moment is the information flow between the different HR modules. This can be improved by Oracle."
"In some geographies, you might not find specific localizations. For example, here in Turkey, we can use all Oracle Cloud modules except for payroll. The Oracle payroll module isn't localized for the Turkish system. So, we need to integrate a separate, localized payroll solution with Oracle HCM."
"In regards to the technical support team, sometimes they are busy and sometimes from the company point of view, you need to track someone specific instead of direct support."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The pricing is expensive and I would say it is below average for the value it provides based on the high cost."
"I know some of what we're currently paying. Most customers would say it's too high, but I don't have a comparison to know that."
"The solution is expensive."
"It is expensive."
"The solution is expensive and everyone complains about the price."
"I give the pricing a seven out of ten."
"The is a license needed to use the solution. The license can be paid in different increments, such as quarterly."

"According to the Turkish market, the pricing is a little bit expensive."

"The price for Oracle HCM Cloud is expensive in Iran, but in other countries, such as Turkey, it can be reasonably priced."
